Mahindra Lifespace Appoints Vimal Agarwal as New Internal Auditor, Replacing Mahajan & Aibara LLP

Leadership Change in Internal Audit

Mahindra Lifespace Developers has replaced Mahajan & Aibara LLP as Internal Auditor with Vimal Agarwal, Group Chief Internal Auditor of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, effective July 23, 2026. Agarwal is not related to any director of the company.

Agarwal's Background and Experience

Agarwal is the Chief Financial Officer of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India and brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, governance, and business strategy. Before his current position, he held leadership roles at PepsiCo India where he worked in financial operations, planning, analytics, and supply chain finance. Within the Mahindra ecosystem, he previously served as CFO of Mahindra Lifespaces, contributing to fundraising, digital initiatives, and private equity partnerships.

Group-Level Appointment

Agarwal was appointed as Mahindra Group's Group Chief Internal Auditor effective July 1, 2026. He assumed the role following K N Vaidyanathan's retirement on June 30 after a career spanning four decades, including more than 14 years with the group. Agarwal also became part of the senior management team.

The appointment reflects the group's continued focus on governance, risk management, and strong internal controls.
