Mahindra World City Jaipur Hosts Half Marathon with 3,000+ Participants
Inaugural Marathon Draws 3,000+ Participants to Mahindra World City Jaipur
Mahindra World City Jaipur Limited hosted a half marathon on 29 March 2026, with more than 3,000 runners participating across various age groups and abilities. The event marked the first large-scale community running initiative at the 3,000-acre integrated business city.
Chief Minister Flags Off Inaugural Event
Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, flagged off the marathon and addressed participants on the importance of healthy living. The event included the planting of a sapling at the site, part of the commitment to a sustainable ecosystem for businesses.
Sharma told organisers: "I want to congratulate you for conducting the event at a place where business flourishes. It is the first such event at this business hub, and I hope it will be an annual event."
Multiple Race Categories and Safety Measures
The marathon featured multiple categories of runs, including the half marathon and a 10 km run, as well as a 5 km run, a 3 km run, and a 1 km run. The event was supported by hydration points and medical support teams, with route management systems used for the race.
