Mahindra Lifespace Achieves RERA Registration for Mahindra Rainforest Mixed-Use Development

Mahindra Lifespace Developers received Maharashtra RERA approval for Mahindra Rainforest on LBS Marg, Kanjur, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The project's official RERA registration numbers are PM181012502957 and PM181012502958 for future phases, with the current phase approval received on March 18, 2026, at 7:47 pm.

The registration clears the regulatory pathway for the developer to market and sell units in the residential phases of the development. The project was officially launched on March 18, 2026, and has received all necessary regulatory approvals from the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

Project Scale and Composition

The project spans approximately 25.47 acres and is among the largest developments in Mumbai's central suburbs, envisioned as an integrated lifestyle destination. The residential launch phases have an estimated Gross Development Value of approximately ₹3,000 crore.

The residential township in these phases will offer thoughtfully designed 2 and 3 BHK premium residences tailored for modern urban lifestyles. The larger development is designed to seamlessly integrate residential, commercial, and retail within a single mixed-use ecosystem.

Location and Connectivity

Kanjur, in Mumbai's eastern central suburbs, has emerged as a key residential corridor in recent years. The area is driven by strong connectivity and established social infrastructure, with the project offering strong connectivity to the Eastern Express Highway and the Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road.

Residents will benefit from Metro Line 4, which abuts the project, along with proximity to the interchange with Metro Line 6 and seamless connectivity to the suburban rail network. The neighbourhood provides convenient access to key business districts such as BKC and Powai, supported by well-established social infrastructure, including reputed schools, hospitals, malls, and entertainment hubs.
